About Us
Welcome to Forest Flame. Our aim is to create stunning, seamless events, which become fond memories for life, facilitating positive experiences and connections.
Our extensive experience in events over the last two decades makes us the go-to professionals for event design in the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast areas.
Sustainability is key in our building processes, with most of our materials being repurposed, reused or saved from the timber offcuts pile. This gives our creations a unique character and means we don't consume more than we must.
We are based in the beautiful Northern Rivers, servicing the Gold Coast, Tweed region, Byron Bay and the Hinterland.

Hello, I'm Rachel
Founder and creator of Forest Flame Events.
Designing and creating works of art is my absolute passion in life.
I have been a professional artist for more than fifteen years, working on all sorts of events from operas to music festivals, making props, designing sets and building stages. I have been doing wedding floristry for several years now and I love flowers as a creative medium.
For me events mean community, which is what life is all about. Starting Forest Flame Events has enabled me to share my artistry with people in some of the most uplifting times of their lives.
I love the outdoors, animals and being in my garden with a nice cuppa tea.

Ben is a creative builder, he makes things strong and Rachel makes things pretty, they are a dynamic duo!
Ben is extremely skilled with wood, metal and all manner of tools - actually he is even pretty good at sewing. He can build anything from a bird house to an actual house and is great at designing arbours and gorgeous styling items.
Having worked on events for more than fifteen years, Ben has a plethora of hands-on, practical skills. His patience and curiosity for the creative process make him a fantastic craftsman and a pleasure to work with.
Ben enjoys climbing trees, rope swings, cups of yerba mate and chocolate.
